I still think the palette system is brilliant. Just like I thought it was the first time you told me about it. I can't believe they don't take it into serious consideration.

I knew I had a probem when I drove into my usual DD and the early morning manager said "Oh, you got a new car"

I think a color palette is a great idea! They can be assigned a number ranging from 1 to 5 (darkest to lightest). That way, instead of saying, Large coffee, light.. you could say, Large coffee #5. I feel your pain!

Thanks for your thoughts Brandon. My reference to making the perfect cup is how to make the customer happy. Everyone has their own idea of what regular, light and extra light is. If Dunkin Donuts were able to make a system of this - dare I say - regulate it, create something to help employees/customers identify with the balance of color that suits the flavor they like most then there would be happier customers. I can't be the only one who has trouble at times getting their coffee made just right.

All that being said I pretty much only brew at hoe as a cost saving measure (which I will have to do unti. this site takes off). I think my brewing is terrible so I'll gladly try yours. Thanks for the offer.

BTW, not a 'bro' ;)
